Description
The macadamia nut is the fruit of the macadamia tree in Queensland, Australia. Consumed for 500 years by Aboriginal Australians, it was discovered during the colonization of Australia by an English botanist who named it after a famous chemist: John MacAdam. Its spherical shell contains a brown nut with a striking round, white seed inside.
